CBD (from is one of many compounds known as cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. CBD oils have many uses from pain relief to stress relief.
Is CBD marijuana? CBD comes from marijuana which contains both THC and CBD which have different effects. THC creates a mind-altering “high” when it breaks down with applied heat in the body. On the other hand, CBD is not psychoactive so it will not change a person’s state of mind. However, CBD produces changes in the body to decrease pain and inflammation.

How does CBD work?
CBD produces an effect when it attaches to certain receptors in the body. The human body also produces cannabinoids naturally. The body has two receptors for cannabinoids called CB1 and CB2.

CB1 receptors are found throughout the body, but mostly in the brain. The ones in the brain deal with pain, moods, emotions, memories, appetite, movement, coordination, and some other functions. THC attaches itself to these receptors

CB2 receptors are mainly in the immune system which affect pain and inflammation. CBD seems to tell the body or encourages it to use more of its own cannabinoids. This is similar to how homeopathic medicine works, by stimulating the body’s own healing mechanisms.
From personal experience, I am very impressed with Apple CBD’s products. Recently, I was in pain from working out, and had difficulty walking. I tried a few things, but nothing worked. When I used Apple CBD’s tincture and pain salve, within a day, the pain in my hip subsided, and I could join my team out on the baseball field again, and even run around on the tennis court!

I like @applecbdplus (check them out on Instagram!) because they use lab tested, high quality organic – high purity CO2 extracted hemp oil. It’s food grade non-GMO, so I take the tincture twice a day, and apply the salve where I have pain on my body. It’s been very effective for me.
